The Rider Info Pack and Final Race Details

Hello Rider,
This e-mail contains the final information for each of you before this Thursdays big race.  The trails at Anglesea could not be more perfect for us.  Hardpack tacky sandy loam for almost the entire 7.9km loop.  And on most of the way there is not so much as a leaf on the trail.  This years race course will favour the skilful smooth rider with about 80% of the track being flowing single trail. I could go on, but here are the details.

Where-  Eumeralla Scout Camp, 1415 Great ocean Road Anglesea. Event signage will be posted from the Anglsea and Melbourne sides.
When-   Thursday march 31st             Rider Registration and sign in 0830-0930
             Rider Briefing  0945
             Race Start   1000 sharp
             Presentation 1145

Food-    Barista and coffee cart open from 0730 coffe and muffin combo $5.00
BBQ at the race end, steak sandwiches, sausages and veggie rolls, soft drink and beer price TBA.  sorry we have to charge you but we lost our free location (yangs) with the rains.

Toilets- On site, clean and stocked.

Race distance will be either three or two laps of the 7.9km loop depending on the division you are in.  The winners of most divisions will take between 60 and 75 minutes to complete the race.  The trail will be bunted out Wednesday, and practice laps are welcomed Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning.  All riders must sign in on the day between 0830 and 0930 at the rego tent to get a race plate.  All riders must attend the race briefing.
Maps of the Eumeralla Camp and the race track are available on the blog http://www.esmtb2011.blogspot.com/ ask any questions via the blog, im sure others are asking the same.  Any urgent questions email or call, sam_bach@live.com or 0412802951.

See you all Thursday.
